About us

Savoj pizzeria in Stockholm

Savoj is the first restaurant of brothers Jonathan and Andreas. We have always dreamed of what in our world is a perfect pizza.

Light and fluffy, like sweet little clouds, it's perfect! So how do you make a perfect pizza? Well, first, you experiment with different batches of dough like a thousand times, then you get mad because it's not good, then you realize that you only need to do about 20% of the whole job. The remaining 80% are enzymes, time and temperature that make you feel light and fresh even if you have eaten as much dough as half a Skogaholms loaf.

We have always been interested in food and drink, so we have chosen to complement the pizza with some simple dishes and a selection of natural wines.

Step inside and you'll enjoy our music, interior design and one-of-a-kind art, most of it created by dear friends.
So, what is Savoj? Savoj is not really a restaurant and not a pizzeria either.

Here you can arrange a cozy dinner with family and friends, but also slip in for a beer and a chat.

Savoj is the home of Andreas and Jonathan, where the door is always ajar and you can stumble in at any time.

Because that's what Savoj is all about - being at home with us.

About the brothers

Andreas and Jonathan, sons of the founder of the legendary pizzeria in Jönköping, Alcamo, have grown up with pizza being the name of the game in our family. It's in our blood, we are pizza makers.

But we always thought that we should take it one step further. We wanted to do something different, something challenging. That's when Jonathan came four years ago and showed Gino Sorbillo on Instagram and the only thing we thought was "wow!". Where is this? Neapolitan pizza? What is it?"

So the last four years have been a lot of YouTube, a lot of crappy pizza and four years of frustration with a single thought in my head, why isn't the pizza good?

But now we feel we have it (almost) and can proudly serve our interpretation of the Neapolitan pizza, a pizza that reflects us brothers, who we are.
So we hope you will come to our home and get to know us more, because we would love to get to know you.
