About us

Light a candle and let it burn:

Savoj pizzeria was born in 2021 on the outskirts of Stockholm's streets in Siberia at Roslagsgatan 43, a small street between Vasastan and Östermalm that is still quite discreet and not very well-traveled.

We are proud of our presence in this small neighborhood that has started to live and received a dose of hospitality with other wonderful restaurants and pizzerias such as Babette, Meno Male and Holy kebab. The businesses around us are multiplying and from being a neighborhood restaurant for all the amazing people who live in the neighborhood, it has become a place for after work, not least on Tuesdays when we pour Stockholm's cheapest and most affordable bubbly for 199 SEK a bottle (höhö).

A multifaceted living room:

Savoj was born out of a passion for pizza, music and interior design. A desire to share life around what we love most and with those we love most. We've always had an interest in food and drink, so we've chosen to complement the pizza with some simple dishes and a selection of natural wines. Because that's what we strive for, that in all its simplicity it should go from being heavenly good to devilishly executed.

Step inside and you'll enjoy our music, our decor and one-of-a-kind art, most of it created by dear friends. Savoj is a living room inspired by the four corners of the world, the festivities of Tel Aviv, the bars of London and New York, not forgetting the pizzerias and jazz cafés of Tokyo.

Keep the fire burning

We got a sibling in 2024, our pizzeria on Södermalm. A short walk from Södra station and the pulse of Mariatorget. Also just on the edge of the south at Magnus Ladulåsgatan 4, just like in Siberia, it is a very discreet and unvisited neighborhood on Södermalm, the perfect place for a neighborhood restaurant worth visiting.

Our restaurant on Södermalm has become a fine sibling and just like Roslagsgatan, it warms the south with free soft ice cream buffet every Monday and kebab pizza every Sunday where we serve our father's mythical kebab sauce found at the legendary pizzeria Alcamo in Jönköping.

The raw materials

All our raw materials come exclusively from environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture, that it should be just sustainable and good for both the environment and us who eat the food is something we do not compromise on.

It is of utmost importance and a matter of course for us that all our guests receive fresh products selected according to season and of good quality. A pizza does not have to be unhealthy, on the contrary, our pizzas are healthy to eat as we only use clean, organic and fresh products. Those of us who work with this and eat it every day are in the best shape.

In summer:

When Stockholm is at its most beautiful, we open up our sunny outdoor cafés in both Södermalm and Vasastan. The quiet and calm streets we are located on set an almost sacred experience where the only ear hears is the happy buzzing and toasting of the people, whether it's dinner or a weekend lunch. The perfect place to spend time with family and friends in a cozy atmosphere.

About the brothers

Andreas and Jonathan, sons of the founder of the legendary pizzeria in Jönköping Alcamo, have grown up with the fact that pizza is the thing in our family. It's in our blood, we're pizza makers.

But we always thought that we should take it a step further. We wanted to do something different, something challenging. That's when Jonathan came four years ago and showed us Gino Sorbillo on Instagram and all we thought was 'wow! Where is this? Neapolitan pizza? What is that?"So the last four years have been a lot of YouTube, a lot of crappy pizza and four years of frustration with one thought in our heads, why isn't the pizza good? But now we feel we have it (almost) and can proudly serve our interpretation of the Neapolitan pizza, a pizza that reflects us brothers, who we are.

So we hope you'll come to our home and get to know us more, because we'd love to get to know you. Ciao!
